As a former college athlete it is incredibly hard to find the motivation to get back into the gym and now I much prefer any workout I can do outside of a gym. So instead of a pricy gym membership I invested in a few pieces of fitness equipment to complete my workouts at home. Today I’ve rounded up 5 great workouts you can do in an apartment or for me in the future: a tiny house! I don’t know about you, but I definitely added a bit of a ‘winter coat’ if you know what I’m talking about…and it’s got to go! With bikini season quickly approaching, getting toned and in shape doesn’t have to be time-intensive or expensive. I love what I can accomplish at home with these high-intensity, full-body workouts and just a few basic pieces of equipment.
1. Best Bikini Moves with Kayla Itsines
2. Making Waves Cardio from Tone It Up
3. 30 Minute Fat-Frying Workout by PopSugar
4. Bikini Body Routine by Tone It Up
5. 15 Minute Workout by Tracy Anderson
I’ll normally pair these workout videos with 20-30 minutes of abs, running or walking. I’m also obsessed with jump roping! Not only is it something you can also do in a small space, but it’s a full body workout and it’s cheap! So I’ll do 100 set jump rope intervals, take a long walk with the dogs or simple runs around the apartment complex. Getting in shape doesn’t have to be expensive, time-consuming or even require a lot of special equipment or space. Below I’ve linked some of my must-haves for getting and staying in shape!
Oh and always remember to hydrate! I am obsessed with my Yeti Rambler!
